Be sure to view J D Salinger on StarCensus.com. Salinger wrote a handful of books (4 of ’em), dropped out of the public eye and died quietly. To go private, in fact to become very, very private was probably the strategy that guaranteed his literary legacy. Not just that laying low kept him out of the public eye, it let his work take the public spotlight. So I’ve chosen this video because it focuses on his work (mostly).
