Alexander Haig dies at age 85.
It’s not often that politicians let their stupid out to publicly and so blatantly. I was a teen when President Reagan was shot and Alexander Haig got his stupid out. Haig announced that the President was being treated in the hospital and that he, Haig, was in charge. HUH? Maybe I had just finished a High School civics class (I highly recommend it for all elected and appointed officials!) but I seemed to recall that the Constitution passes power to the Vice President (that would have been George Bush Sr.) not to the Secretary of State. Oooops. Power hungry or just a dummy?
